Blockages

Blockages

As a wise poet once said to me: " writer's block is very much like a blocked toilet; keep on with the plunger and before long you'll dislodge something "

I never worry about writer's block; if nothing is springing to mind I don't reckon there is any way you can force something to happen. All you can do is scribble around with random thoghts - maybe you've got a book of writing prompts that can get you writing about something that wouldn't normally cross your mind - maybe something will spring out of nowhere, as you walk down the street or around the supermarket. Just maybe you need a week or a month break to let your mind refresh and focus on other things ... You are always picking up ideas from the ether, and eventually, like a simmering stew, a tasty dish Coalesces :) #AmWriting #Poetry #PlayingWithWords
